Captain Sim needs no introduction. Raking in award after award, did not go unnoticed at Microsoft's HQ, which lead to Captain Sim's F/A 18 being used for Microsoft's official add-on for Flight Simulator X : Acceleration. After their 757 reached a certain level of maturity, the step to take on the 767 was a logical one, as both share a lot of systems, and concepts. With Level-D's 767 aging (gracefully), it was time for something new, something better...

If the Captain Sim 767 will surpass Level-D's, is something we'll see as time goes along, as the initial bugs will be ironed out, more models (-200, -400!!) and more features (weather radar!!) will come available. As part of our contribution to the freeware community and to uphold the good relationship with CS, which we have had for quite some years now, we will deliver (normal definition) liveries for the 767. Free of charge. While we go along, we will customize the stock kit, but do not expect a complete overhaul, since the stock kit is already one of high quality and we are focussing all the kitbuilders to our UHDT projects.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
